Emory University---s Department of Medicine seeks a
collaborative, mission-driven scholar and leader to serve as the
next Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases. This is a

disease care, HIV treatment, and research, the Division excels in
pathogenesis, virology, immunology, epidemiology, diagnostics,
antimicrobial resistance, and vaccine development. With an
established culture of discovery and innovation, Emory provides
cutting-edge therapies and groundbreaking clinical trials, ensuring
patients access the latest advancements in infectious disease care.
The Division also boasts a top-ranked infectious diseases
fellowship program. Emory University School of Medicine is an
internationally recognized leader in biomedical education,
research, and patient care, and is ranked 17th nationally in NIH
research. Emory Healthcare is the region---s largest academic
health system, including Grady Health System and the Joseph Maxwell
Cleland VA Atlanta Healthcare System. The Department of Medicine,

ranked 19th in NIH research. Reporting directly to the chair of
medicine, the director will lead clinical, educational, and
research initiatives while strengthening community partnerships.
This leader will expand infectious disease programs, drive research
from bench to bedside, and oversee competitive training programs.
The ideal candidate will be a nationally recognized infectious
disease expert with experience growing research, enhancing patient
care, and fostering faculty and trainee development. Inquiries,
