Director, Global Commercial and Marketing StrategyHotel: Corp
Atlanta Ravinia, Three Ravinia Drive, Suite 100, 30346This
strategic role is focused on orchestrating the creation and
delivery of the strategy and plan for Global Commercial Services
and Global Marketing Shared Services. This role will act as both
the strategy lead and Chief of Staff for these functions while
maintaining connectivity to the central Global Commercial and
Marketing Strategy team.Your day to day
- Develop the annual and three-year plan for the various support
organizations (e.g., GMSS, Global Commercial Services) which is
linked to the top-down corporate plan and includes input from
regions and other key functions (monitoring adjusting throughout
the year as required)
- Lead the creation and execution of strategic initiatives to
drive performance, increase organizational effectiveness, and/or
unlock new business opportunities.
- Oversee governance and performance tracking across supported
organizations and connect into central processes.
- Own the creation of executive materials (e.g., Board or
Executive Committee presentations).
- Act as an advisor to the SVPs and leadership teams of Global
Commercial Services and Global Marketing Shared Services.What we
need from you
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business, Strategy, Finance or
a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education
and work-related experience. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years progressive work experience in strategy, consultancy,
or a corporate environment, with exposure to a broad range of
business issues as well as 3 to 5 years managing teams and/or
significant complex projects. Commercial and/or Performance
Marketing experience preferred.
- Demonstrated planning and project management skills to assess
and develop strategic plans based on business needs and
assessments.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking with a proven ability to
analyze markets, performance data, and business issues and draw
insight/conclusions using financial modelling/analysis.
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills, with the ability to
build relationships across business units for collaboration, data
requests, and joint analysis.Salary and BenefitsThe salary range
for this role is $100,000.00 to $180,000.00. This role is also
eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of
