Job Description:
A company is looking for a Distribution Protection Engineer to
join their Distribution System Protection and Automation team.
Key Responsibilities
Solve challenging substation engineering problems and perform
quality reviews
Collaborate with clients and staff on project planning through
design and construction support
Conduct system protection studies and provide recommendations on
protection philosophies and standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with relevant
experience: 2+ years for mid-level, 4+ years for senior level, and
8+ years for lead level
Strong foundation in distribution power systems and protection
strategies
Experience with device coordination and creating relay settings for
distribution devices
Proficiency in distribution power tools for coordination studies
and fault analysis
Knowledge of technical reviews and interconnection studies for
distributed generation applications
