System One is seeking an Electrical / I&C design engineer to join a dynamic team working on projects for top energy providers. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to modify and enhance power generation facilities and electrical systems.

Key responsibilities include:

Contributing to the design, preparation, and integration of major electrical power equipment.
Developing engineering calculations and electrical control circuit designs.
Conducting tests and troubleshooting by researching technical issues through various sources.
Designing or modifying components based on specifications or instructions.
Assessing materials and work completed by contractors, providing recommendations on their acceptability.
Offering support to engineering teams across a variety of client projects.
Occasionally traveling to client and vendor locations for design reviews, as well as plant sites for construction coordination and field verification of designs.

Qualifications/Requirements:


Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
0 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Prior nuclear industry experience is preferred.
Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
