Rate: $36.22 $38.31 Job DescriptionJOB OVERVIEW: The Technician I
position requires 2 Senior Certifications. As a Technician I, you
will support our manufacturing operations and facilities
infrastructure by providing a full range of mechanical/electrical
and repair tasks with a focus on project completion in a timely
manner and attention to detail. Project duties will vary; please
read the requirements and job tasks below to understand the range
of experience needed.GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:--- High school graduate
or equivalent --- Strong Mechanical & Electrical background & good
work record --- Must have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office,
CMMS, Excel, etc.) --- Ability to interpret technical drawings,
schematics and OEM manuals --- Understand manufacturing processes
and manufacturing equipment --- Must be familiar with normal shop
equipment such as drill press, band saw, portable power tools,
welder(s), etc. --- Ability to read and interpret precision
measuring devices --- Must be capable of handling multiple tasks
simultaneously --- Must have 2 hands-on Certifications: Senior
Electrical, plus Sr. Mechanical --- Up to 50% travel
possiblePRIMARY JOB TASKS: --- Works in a safe manner and ensures
the safety of all employees --- Perform all work in accordance with
Southwire policies and procedures --- Reading electrical and or
mechanical schematics, drawings and equipment manuals --- Develop
