Job Description:
A company is looking for an Accreditation Consultant to manage
ACoS accredited projects and Registry Operations Service Line
projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage abstracting and operations activities in accordance with
ACoS and state registry requirements
Serve as the subject matter expert for registry operations and
accreditation requirements
Coordinate ACoS accreditation committee meetings and provide
recommendations for compliance and improvement
Required Qualifications
Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certification is required
At least three years of registry abstracting experience is
required
Knowledge of service line standards and regulations is required
Preferred five years of registry abstracting experience in ACoS
programs
Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information
Management or related field
