Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Claims Examiner - Claims
Specialist - Construction Defect.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of moderate to high complexity P&C insurance
claims
Perform coverage, liability, and damage analysis on claims
assignments
Negotiate settlements and provide technical guidance to Claims
Associates and Examiners
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum of three years of P&C claims handling experience for
Senior Claims Examiner; seven years for Claims Specialist
Experience with complex coverage issues and negotiating settlements
required
Adjuster license and/or certifications preferred
Ability to obtain required state adjusters' licenses within six
months of training completion
