Promising innovations are integrated into our UMAX product suite, enhancing our service offerings.Role OverviewAs a Data Scientist within the I - team, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end development of data-driven solutions. This includes data collection, analysis, model experimentation, deployment, dashboard creation, and MLOps to deliver value to our customers. You'll receive mentorship and support from our Data Science Lead.Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate: Work closely with the use case lead, customers, and subject matter experts to understand and analyse business challenges.
• Data Integration: Identify and integrate data sources into our data layer, ensuring data quality and optimal performance.
• Data Analysis & Modelling: Conduct data exploration, analysis, and modelling to support ideation and proof business value.
• Experimentation & ML: Experiment, train, tweak, and test machine learning models and assess real-world performance.
• Dashboarding: Design and develop intuitive dashboards for internal teams and clients using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Python.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating effectively with various stakeholders across teams.
• MLOps & Deployment: Collaborate with our DevOps team to integrate, deploy, and maintain solutions, utilizing MLOps best practices.Ideal Candidate Profile
• Languages: Dutch and English
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in data analysis, data science, or data engineering roles.
• Machine Learning (ML): Proficient in Python and essential ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Strong experience in building, validating, and deploying ML models. Experience with NLP and LLMs is a plus.
• Data Engineering: Skilled in SQL and familiar with data engineering tools like Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, and SQL/NoSQL databases. Experience with cloud-based data stores is an advantage.
• MLOps: Knowledgeable in Git and Azure DevOps. Familiarity with MLflow for model tracking, Docker for containerization, and Kubernetes for orchestration is a plus.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to addressing business questions.
• Visualization Expertise: Skilled in creating visualizations with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or within Python.
• Autonomy & Initiative: Capable of working independently with a hands-on approach, while proactively taking initiatives.
