Job ID: 992607 Atlanta, Georgia Job Type: Contract Added - 01/24/25Job DescriptionInnova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Sr. Security Engineer.Position Type: Contract (with possible extension/conversion)Duration: 12+ MonthsLocation: Atlanta, GAAs a Sr. Security Engineer, you will:

• Lead projects to implement tools within CI/CD pipelines for automated Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and Source Code Analysis (SCA).
• Work within a DevSecOps model to secure containers in environments utilizing ROSA, Tekton, and OpenShift pipelines.
• Design, develop, plan, implement, and support Cloud DevSecOps processes across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with secure coding best practices.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of CI/CD tools, including but not limited to Jenkins, Tekton, CircleCI, GitLab, and AWS CodePipeline.
• Adopt a test-driven mindset with a focus on automation within development tools.
• Facilitate training sessions on enterprise tools and best security practices.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies.
• Apply programming skills (e.g., Java, JavaScript) to recommend and implement secure coding practices.
• Utilize various programming languages (JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go) and database technologies (both RDBMS and NoSQL) as well as container orchestration services (Docker, Kubernetes) and a range of AWS tools and services.
• Maintain knowledge of OWASP secure coding standards.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
• Conduct security reviews of software designs in collaboration with development teams to ensure the quality and integrity of products.
• Perform security assessments on web applications and APIs across diverse technology stacks.
• Conduct technical design reviews and code reviews.
