Job Title: X-ray Technologist Job Specialty: Radiology - Operating Room (OR) Job Duration: Full-time Shift: Wednesday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year in a Level 1 trauma setting or 2-3 years in a large-bed Level 2 trauma facility License: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: Graduation from a JRCERT/ARRT approved program Job Description: - Must have experience in the Operating Room (OR) - Comfortable working in the OR, Emergency Department (ED), inpatient settings, and with portable X-ray equipment - Willingness to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging - Ability to operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment efficiently - Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure optimal image accuracy - Experience with EMR systems such as EPIC and Sectra - Proficiency with equipment from GE, Phillips, and CareStream - Primarily assigned to a department but expected to float to other areas if necessary - Collaborate with and mentor students, performing competency check-offs when required
