Job Description:
A company is looking for a Hematology Oncology Physician
Coder.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze medical records and accurately code diagnostic and
procedural information
Abstract clinical diagnoses and procedure codes into electronic
medical records
Provide quality assurance for medical records and ensure compliance
with coding regulations
Required Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or equivalent specialized training in
medical record keeping
Certification as a CPC, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, CPC-A, RHIA, or RHIT in
active status
At least six months of professional coding services or related
healthcare experience
Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding principles as per AHIMA
competencies
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting using coding
software and office programs
