Job Description:

JUICER, a leader in innovative pricing and revenue management solutions for the restaurant industry, seeks an experienced Data Architect. This role will own the design and implementation of JUICER's data architecture and oversee JUICER's engineering team, serving as a player-coach. The ideal candidate will have a robust blend of technical and business knowledge, deep expertise in data architecture, and a passion and proven track record of developing scalable solutions in AWS.Key Responsibilities

• Data Architecture: In AWS, design a comprehensive data architecture for Juicer's products that is scalable, cost-efficient, aligns with product objectives, and supports data analytics and reporting.
• Business Collaboration: Collaborate with the product team to understand business needs and translate to detailed technical requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
• System Development: Own implementation of data architecture and oversee entire product development, from end-to-end data pipelines to system front-end.
• System Performance: Proactively monitor and analyze system performance, identifying issues and implementing solutions to enhance processing speed and efficiency.
• Data Roadmap: Develop a longer-term technical roadmap, ensuring it supports business goals and can scale as needed.
• Team Leadership: Manage a team of engineers, ensuring the team follows SDLC best-practices and produces high-quality code.Job Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience designing and implementing scalable data architectures, with a significant portion dedicated to building analytical solutions and/or products.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications are highly advantageous.
  • AWS Expertise: Proven experience implementing scalable, cost-efficient solutions using AWS services.
  • Data Modeling: Expertise in traditional relational databases, modern data storage solutions, ETL processes, and designing schemas for analytics and reporting.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in multiple major programming languages, including Python.
  • Collaboration & Team Leadership: Experience leading and mentoring a team of developers and working with a cross-functional team to deliver value for customers.
  • Skills and Attributes: Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills; strong communication and leadership capabilities; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; self-starter.Compensation & Benefits
