Senior Software Engineer Role and Responsibilities Design and develop high-quality, performant, reliable, and maintainable software. Collaborate in brainstorming, planning, prioritizing, and implementing new features. Work closely with colleagues to ensure software designs meet functional and technical requirements. Develop unit, integration, and UI automation tests as necessary. Investigate, triage, and resolve production issues.





Senior Software Engineer Required Skills and Experience 5+ years of professional software development experience. Proficiency in the Elixir programming language. Strong understanding of software engineering principles, theories, and methodologies. Strong understanding of the Linux/*Nix command line. Creative problem-solving skills and excellent debugging and root-cause analysis abilities. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently to resolve production issues, document findings, and implement solutions.







Senior Software Engineer Desired Skills and Experience Experience with or a willingness to learn SIP telephony. Familiarity with Phoenix Framework. Experience with Ruby and/or the Ruby on Rails. Knowledge of AWS and Heroku. Experience with front-end web technologies. (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) Background in developing telephony systems. (SIP, RTP) Familiarity with Docker and Docker-Compose. Familiarity with test automation and performance monitoring tools. (e.g., Specs)








Senior Software Engineer Required Education Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
