Physicians Care is looking for experienced Limited License X-Ray Technologists/Medical Assistants to join our team at our centers in Chattanooga,TN ABOUT PHYSICIANS CARE:Physicians Care, with 12 locations throughout Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, is an affiliate of Urgent Team, one of the largest independent operators of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast. Physicians Care's convenient, walk-in centers provide a range of healthcare services including treatments for injuries and illnesses, occupational health and wellness care. The centers are open seven days a week: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additionally, all Physicians Care centers are Accredited Care Centers - a designation from the Urgent Care Association which recognizes the company's commitment to safety, quality, and scope of services. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned.--- Performs timely radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician--- Performs necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are performed--- Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and follows established clinical and regulatory procedures in regards to patient safety and care; including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques.--- Ensures that equipment is in proper working order and reports any malfunctions to the Area Manager or provider on duty.--- Follows documentation procedures and completes required documentation related to patient visit.--- Assumes responsibility for maintaining and improving diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills with the support and assistance of outside educational resources--- Responsible for maintaining current licensure and certification for the facility radiology equipment and licensure WHAT'S REQUIRED?--- High school diploma or equivalent education based on certification type; skills in Medical Assisting are required--- State X-Ray license, or willingness to get upon hire, is required FULL-TIME BENEFITS INCLUDE:--- Competitive Salary--- Medical, Dental, and Vision Options--- Retirement savings plans--- Paid Time Off--- and MORE!
