System One is currently seeking an Environmental Laboratory Analyst on a 6 month contact position located in Atlanta, GA.

Environmental Lab Analyst Responsibilities: Responsible for testing of environmental samples to determine the presence of pollutants and other contaminants. Analyze the samples with specialized equipment and techniques.
Play a critical role in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
Analyze samples, including process water samples, coal, fuel oil and compliance water samples.
Maintain accurate records, permits, and documentation required for environmental compliance and reporting.


Environmental Lab Analyst Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Environmental Sciences
Several years of experience performing laboratory analysis; EPA methods or environmental analysis a plus.
Proficiency in laboratory testing equipment and safe lab practices.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information and compliance requirements.
Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges and recommend innovative solutions.
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in environmental documentation and regulatory compliance.
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve environmental goals.
Strong analytical thinking to assess environmental data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations.

Pay Rate: $30/hr
