Overview:Full Time opportunity for an experienced Double Boarded PMHNP & FNPBlue Ridge Recovery Center, an Acadia Healthcare facility is an alcohol and drug detox and substance misuse treatment center offering rehabilitation programs for alcohol, heroin, opiate, and prescription drug addiction. Blue Ridge is located on 50 acres in Ball Ground, Georgia, just an hour north of Atlanta.We provide compassionate, expert care, meeting men and women 18+, wherever they may be in their recovery process from addiction. Our intimate setting allows us to provide tailored, focused treatment with individual, small group, and family-inclusive treatment. Our goal is to work with our residents to teach them the skills needed for sustaining long-term recovery.The levels of care we provide at Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center include the following:Drug & Alcohol Detoxification ProgramResidential Treatment ProgramFamily ProgramRelapse Recovery ProgramContinuing CareOverview:Provide medical evaluations and treatment of patients at facility under the supervisor of the Medical Director and work collaboratively with the medical/clinical staff under the guidelines of state licensure for Nurse Practitioners.For more details, please contact - debbie.hughes@acadiahealthcare.com or call/text: 615.861.7581#LI-DT1#LI-BRMRAHPRResponsibilities:Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team.Participate in the formulation of patient Master Treatment PlanAssess physical and psychiatric health of patient and formulate measures to meet patient needs.Chart clinical observation (direct or through dictation), evaluations and treatment of patient in required time according to facility guidelines.Communicate with physicians and other staff as necessary to provide quality care for patient within appropriate guidelines.Encourage family involvement in patient care. Respond to identified patient and family educational needs.Support and follow legal requirements, hospital policy and procedures, medical staff bylaws and regulatory requirements.Provide services that are in accordance with the state guidelines for Nurse Practitioners.Provide on-call responsibilities on scheduled basis directed by medical staff.May focus on health promotion and disease prevention. May order, perform or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays. May prescribe medication.Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.
