Individuals in this role need to be detail oriented, have strong interpersonal skills, be competent in medical best practices and maintain a high level of confidentiality.Company Benefits & Urgent Care Perks:Competitive Pay!Flexible work schedules, no nights, no on-call, and limited weekendsWork three days one week and four days the next, resulting in 3-4 days off each week.Physicians and family members enjoy a flat-rate fee for medical services at CRH-affiliated clinics.Clinics are closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day, and Easter with early closing on Christmas Eve and 4th of July.Annual Merit IncreasesAnnual bonusYearly Production Bonus (Volume Incentive Program)401(K) Match Up to 4%Full Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision InsuranceGenerous PTO PlanEmployee Assistance ProgramProfessional Growth OpportunitiesEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramResearch opportunities!Primary Responsibilities:Oversee urgent and primary care walk-ins and appointments of ages 2 and up as the sole provider.Average volume of 35 patients per 12-hour day, or just under three patients per hour.Perform minor office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, toenail removal, and orthopedic splinting.Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annuals.Evaluate patients for workers compensation injuries.Qualifications and Experience:2+ years experienced preferred but new experienced graduates are welcome in providing patient care as a PA or NP.Masters (PA / NP) and appropriate state licensePreference for ABMS Board certification in internal medicine and family practiceUnderstanding of medical coding and billingKnowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, blood borne pathogens and othersCompetent with common PC applications including Internet, Email and Microsoft Office as well as comfortable with EMR applications.Understanding and experience with occupational health practices, including CME qualification, drug testing protocols, employment physicals, and OSHA guidelines.
