Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Job Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years; Unit accepts first-time travelers License: GA or Compact license must be in hand Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Two supervisory references, preferably from a manager or above - Full compliance required for on-time start - Availability to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract Job Description: - Work on the Medical Surgical Unit, ensuring patient care and safety - Expected to work major holidays if they fall during the assignment period - Every other weekend shifts required, averaging 4 shifts per month or as per hospital needs - May be required to float based on hospital needs, which could include CNA/tech roles - Utilize unit systems such as Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR - Orientation includes 13 non-billable hours - Compliance with vaccination requirements as determined by the facility
