Compliance (E&C) function and will be based in North America.
The E&C function's mission is to manage risks to our firm, our
clients, and our people, while also enabling our firm's client
impact and innovation. The E&C function is a globally
integrated team within the second line of defense of our firm.
McKinsey has an E&C program that is structured in a way that
ensures that it is well designed, empowered to function
effectively, and works in practice. Our E&C program includes a
clear message that misconduct is not tolerated as well as policies,
procedures, training, monitoring and consequence management to
ensure the program is well-integrated into our firm's operations
and workforce. This opportunity works in the E&C Capabilities
pillar, which drives cross-functional application and consistency
of core E&C program activities, including firm governance,
training and awareness, risk assessment, data insights,
programmatic monitoring, and issue management.You will report to
the Director of Ethics & Compliance Capabilities - Risk Management
and Insights.Your ImpactIn this role, you will lead the day-to-day
activities for our global Risk Management and Leadership program.
You will work on the enhancement of the strategic, operational, and
organizational model for our global Risk Management and Leadership
program and will help conduct annual risk assessment processes and
advance risk culture as part of our Ethics & Compliance program.You
will drive our annual Ethics & Compliance Risk Assessment (ECRA),
including scoping and developing the methodology and conducting the
annual assessment. You will assist leadership in leveraging
internal and external data to drive the risk assessment process.You
will lead the day-to-day development of comprehensive risk
management strategies and frameworks to ensure our firm's
compliance with regulatory standards based on the outcomes from
ECRA.You will also assist leadership in designing training programs
to enhance our firm's knowledge of ethical practices.You will
advance risk management strategies within our firm that are set
through messaging and tone from senior leaders across the
organization. You will collaborate with a wide range of
stakeholders across firm functions to develop a comprehensive
strategy to embed a mindset around shared accountability and
determine specific accountability mechanisms. You will assist
leadership in creating incentivizing opportunities or programs for
further enablement.As a member of the E&C Capabilities team and
E&C function, you will be expected to be a contributor and
thought partner within the function, in addition to managing key
organizational, operational, or strategic initiatives, as
relevant.You will be required to engage in regionally focused
initiatives, such as infusing our integrity agenda, under the
direction and coordination of our regional E&C leaders, the
purpose of which is to raise awareness of and further our firm's
E&C program, and other agreed-upon supporting activities in
your region or location.Collaboration is a key aspect of this role.
You will collaborate with cross-functional and senior stakeholder
groups (e.g., Legal, Risk) across our firm in a timely and
efficient manner on existing, new, or enhanced procedures,
policies, or guidelines. You will work with senior leadership to
draft proper remediation actions and develop recommendations to
ensure the appropriate allocation of required resources. You will
work with stakeholders within and outside our firm to identify
new/emerging risks and develop mitigation strategies.Additionally,
you will lead a high-impact team to deliver against priorities,
supporting their growth and development needs through processes
such as review, recruitment, and coaching.Finally, you will play a
critical role in sustaining and evolving our E&C program and
upholding our commitment to integrity and lawful practices.Your
