offerings in this critical area.Job Summary:As the Director of
Business Development & Customs Solutions, you will be responsible
for leading the business development strategy for our customs
product portfolio. You will leverage your expertise in
international trade and customs, along with your extensive network,
to deliver tailored solutions that meet our customers' needs and
drive significant business growth. Your role will be pivotal in
identifying new market opportunities and expanding our customer
base through strategic initiatives, actively hunting for new
customers.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development
strategies for customs products and services, focusing on market
penetration and revenue growth.
- Formulate and implement strategic initiatives to enhance
revenue growth in customs brokerage, with a specific emphasis on
DHL TradeConnect.
- Actively cultivate new business relationships with targeted
accounts that are not yet leveraging DHL TradeConnect for their
global customs needs.
- Regularly contribute to the enhancement of business development
and sales materials, ensuring they effectively communicate the DHL
TradeConnect value proposition.
- Identify and engage potential clients, leveraging industry
networks and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design innovative
solutions that address complex customer challenges and enhance
service offerings.
- Conduct high-level presentations and engage with key
stakeholders to promote our customs solutions and articulate the
value proposition.
- Utilize strong hunting and sales skills to achieve and exceed
organizational sales targets while fostering long-term
relationships with clients.
- Maintain deep knowledge of international trade and customs
regulations to provide expert guidance to clients and internal
teams.
- Foster strategic relationships with key customers to ensure
satisfaction, retention, and growth, while actively seeking
feedback to refine our offerings.
- Be a key contributor in marketing and branding aspects during
special events such as conferences, fairs, etc.
- Responsible for developing and selling Global Customs Solutions
to customers of different sizes and sectors.Education:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent
years of experience.Experience:
- 7 to 8 years of relevant experience in business development,
preferably within customs solutions or related fields, with a focus
on leadership roles.Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development focused on customs
products and/or Trade Management software company at a senior
level.
- Tech-savvy with a passion for leveraging technology to enhance
service delivery and customer experience.
- Strong customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering
value and building lasting relationships.
- Extensive knowledge of international trade and customs
regulations.
- Established network within the customs and logistics
industry.
- Exceptional leadership, hunting, and sales capabilities, with a
track record of driving successful business development
initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in
presentations and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong problem-solving and solution design capabilities.Nice to

- Experience from the trade management software industry.Salary
Range:149K - 151K per year, depending on experience and
