The Senior Director, Global Data and Analytics (D&A)
Strategy will play a pivotal role in the year-round process that
shapes and brings to life Equifax's Strategy across centers of
excellence (COEs), business units (BUs), and countries (GEOs), as
well as the broader enterprise.Reporting to the Vice President,
Global Head of D&A Strategy, the Senior Director of Global
D&A Strategy will work on four key areas: (1) supporting our
annual strategic planning process, (2) partnering with the business
units/ countries on the highest priority strategic projects, (3)
leading the development of a global center of excellence or guild
to advance our customer-facing data insights, and (4) collaborating
with our Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer on strategic
projects (e.g., go-to-market, competitive intelligence,
partnerships) to advance Equifax's leadership in the space.The
breadth of this role will allow the Senior Director of Global
D&A Strategy to work across functions including data &
analytics, sales, finance, marketing, product, at both the Global
COE and BU/GEO levels. Key day-to-day activities could include
market research, customer interviews, workshop facilitation,
strategy development presentations, quantitative & financial
analysis, and creation and scaling of customer-facing data
visualizations + insights.Discretion to travel (2-4 times per year)
to other countries or EFX locations in the U.S.Equifax has a hybrid
work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and
Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) every
week.This role reports to our office in midtown Atlanta, Georgia
(OAC). Alpharetta is a secondary option with weekly visits to
OAC.**Sponsorship/support is not available for this position
currently or in the future.****This is a direct-hire role and is
not open to C2C or vendors.**What you will do
- Support Annual Strategic Planning Process:
- Combine internal and external intel on macro, market, and
competitive events and trends (e.g., emerging business models, new
capabilities, traditional and non-traditional / emerging players,
ongoing M&A activity), distill key insights, and articulate
relevant opportunities or threats for EFX.
- Help develop, refine, and improve strategy and operating model
for Global D&A organization.
- Assist BUs in countries in developing and harmonizing strategy
against Global Enterprise Priorities and vice versa.
- Partner with the business units/ countries on the highest
priority strategic projects:
- Collaborate with BU/country teams across functions to assist in
strategic projects (e.g., organic and inorganic expansion
opportunities, go-to-market strategy, VOC/ customer needs
assessment).
- Advance Global D&A agenda by working closely with
BU/country teams to define strategy and assist in creating
mechanisms for execution and tracking (e.g., OKRs, KPIs).
- Help identify global needs across geographies to guide Global
D&A priorities and resources.
- Lead the Development of a Global Center of Excellence/ Guild to
advance our customer-facing insights:
- Create a COE to capture and share best practices around
customer-facing pre and post-sale insights to help differentiate
Equifax from our competitors.
- Establish standardized best practices for the tracking of
insights effectiveness and impact that can be implemented
globally.
- Drive thought leadership in terms of new insights EFX could
create that resonate with customers and technologies to help scale
and accelerate deployment of those insights (e.g., GenAI).
- Collaborate with our Chief Artificial Intelligence officer on
advancing Equifax's leadership in the space:
- Develop market, competitor, and customer intelligence to help
inform Equifax's strategy in AI.
- Leverage internal data to understand risks and opportunities in
AI capabilities (e.g., market adoption of AI solutions).
- Serve as a liaison with business units/ countries to understand
needs and priorities that could be addressed and accelerated
through the deployment of AI solutions.What experience you will
need
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics,
Finance, Math, or other quantitative field.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA).
- 7 + years of total work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in strategy roles, of which at least 3+
in top strategy-focused management consulting firms, with a proven
track record of (a) leading strategy projects while working across
multiple stakeholder groups and (b) defining and delivering a
cross-enterprise strategy.
- Experience with complex data analysis, visualization, and
development of insights based on the data.
- Industry experience in Financial Services (can be within
consulting at a financial services client), preferably within the
retail bank.
- Highly independent in thinking and framing problems, driven by
intellectual curiosity.
- High degree of comfort on managing multiple assignments and
priorities simultaneously.
- Strong quantitative and problem solving skills.
- Executive presence and comfort with developing AND delivering
compelling presentations to senior executives, including
c-suite.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication
skills.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with
cross-functional teams to align and coordinate internal
resources.
- High energy, with strong will and ambition to learn and work on
new things.What could set you apart
- Experience with consumer and/or business lending, credit,
and/or fraud.
- Experience in developing KPI and OKR programs.
- Experience with KPI and OKR reporting
