OverviewReporting to the Director of Marketing and CX and
working closely with all members of the marketing team and other
departments, the Marketing Associate - Content will be responsible
for overseeing the creation, management, and optimization of
content across all digital channels. This role will require a mix
of creativity, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience in content creation,
social media, and data-driven decision-making, with a keen ability
to work cross-functionally with other departments. A story-teller
at his/her core, this person is a self-starter with their finger on
the cultural pulse who can work in a dynamic and sometimes
ambiguous environment.ResponsibilitiesThe activities listed below
are not all-inclusive but indicate the type of activities typically
performed in this role. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies that align
with the company's marketing goals and business objectives.
- Create content calendars to ensure a consistent and timely flow
of content across all channels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand audience
needs and create tailored content plans.
- Oversee the creation of various types of content in
collaboration with our agency partners, including blogs, website
copy, social media posts, email newsletters, case studies, white
papers, videos, and more.
- Write and edit compelling copy that engages target audiences
and supports brand voice and messaging.
- Monitor content performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google
Analytics, social media insights) and adjust strategies to improve
engagement and ROI.
- Conduct regular audits of existing content to identify
opportunities for optimization and repurposing.
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand's voice, tone, and
guidelines.
- Review content to ensure accuracy, compliance with legal
requirements, and adherence to best practices.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or
related field.
- 2+ years of experience in content marketing, with a proven
track record of creating high-quality, engaging content.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong understanding of SEO, keyword research, and content
optimization.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS), email
marketing platforms, and social media management tools.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Moz
or Hotjar.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet
deadlines.
- Creative, strategic thinker with a passion for
storytelling.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a
fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
