In this role, you'll be responsible for key accounting tasks, including bank account reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and ad-hoc projects. You'll work closely with both the Accounting and Finance teams, gaining exposure to a wide range of functions and contributing to the financial health of Surya.What You'll Do:

• Bank & Credit Card Reconciliation: Handle multiple large bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
• Journal Entries: Prepare and enter journal entries with precision and attention to detail.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare daily bank reports for Senior Management, analyze variances, and ensure the financial data aligns with company goals.
• ERP Transactions: Post payments in the ERP system (MAS Sage 100) and review bank postings for AR and AP.
• File Management: Establish and maintain confidential company files and financial records.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: Take on diverse projects that will stretch your accounting skills and broaden your expertise.What We're Looking For:
  • Education & Experience: A degree in Accounting or Finance is required. 2-3 years of related experience is preferred, though an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications is essential. Experience with Sage is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: You'll need a keen eye for accuracy and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem Solver: You'll be expected to research and resolve discrepancies with logical and practical solutions.
  • Independent Worker: You should be able to work independently, manage your time effectively, and meet deadlines.
