Duration - 12 months
Location - Atlanta, GA
Pay - $25/hour to $30/hour

Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and filing multi-state sales & use tax returns, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations.
Review general ledger data for accuracy and reconcile it with tax software.
Maintain tax records, exemption certificates, and compliance files per Internal Audit guidelines.
Support tax audits by providing necessary documentation.
Perform monthly tax reconciliations, analyze liability accounts, and prepare journal entries.
Research taxability, jurisdictional rules, and process improvements.
(Plus) Utilize Alteryx to build/troubleshoot workflows and enhance tax processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business with 4-6 years of relevant experience.
Experience in multi-state sales tax compliance, return preparation, and audit support.
Familiarity with Vertex Indirect Tax Returns is preferred.
Strong skills in sales tax research, general ledger reconciliation, and business licensing filings.

Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office.
(Plus) Experience in Equipment Finance, relational databases (Access, Hyperion, Alteryx, Tableau, Micro-Strategy).
